Assessments and Interviews

Next, you'll participate in tailored assessments and interviews to evaluate your interest in, and your ability to do the role. The exact structure and content will depend on the role you’re applying for. The hiring process could include a combination of online tests, technical assessments, case studies, group exercises, or interviews with our team. Your final interview may involve a discussion with our leadership team.

    Part-time Executive Assistant/Director of Operations

    If so, Thirdsound ICT is looking for you to be our Director of Operations. You would be responsible for the setup and management of all of our systems and provide executive assistance to the managing director. The ideal candidate is a positive team player who can juggle multiple projects in a fast paced environment, with meticulous attention to detail. As Director of Operations you must set the bar daily to ensure the culture and foundation of our company stays intact as you setup the foundations of a fast paced, high-tech company.

    Key areas of responsibility:

    - Setup and manage all company systems eg Salesforce, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft 365, email and website systems, KPIs and metrics, checklists and reports

    - Create documentation for our company's procedures by shadowing the managing director in real time, asking questions, and creating a manual or "playbook" on how we do things here at Thirdsound

    - Manage existing financial systems including our daily bookkeeping procedures, quarterly forecast against weekly actuals, monthly P&L, and detailed Excel reporting

    - Manage all incoming and outgoing communications including phones, email, LinkedIn, social media, messaging apps, and mail (including the use of transcription and dictation to send & receive communications on behalf of the managing director)

    - Manage the company's calendar/schedule, assisting with hiring staff (eventually hiring directly), carrying out research including sales opportunities, market reports and data mining

    - Assisting the managing director with his research, KPIs, reports, comms and personal projects

    Contract Terms:

    All terms are fairly flexible due to the start-up nature of the business

    Job type: part-time, option for full time (flexible)

    Work schedule:

    - One 8-hour shift from 9-5 in person (flexible days and times)

    - Other days of the week: 2h at flexible times, with one online meeting with the managing director during the day at a pre-arranged time (flexible)

    Work location: one full day at company headquarters in Glasgow; the other 2 hour blocks done remotely (or onsite if preferable)

    Pay: £15-25 per hour

    Expected hours: minimum 15 hours per week

    Full-time Business Development Manager/Sales Director

    Description:
    We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager/Sales Director to join our team and help us grow our business. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing, and a proven track record of generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with clients, and closing deals.

    As a Business Development Manager at Thirdsound, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building a sales pipeline, and developing a go-to-market strategy. In this role, you will work with a highly creative and innovative team to help bring our vision to life on a global scale. You should have a passion for taking startups and small businesses to the next level, and a desire to help organisations digitally transform and achieve their goals through technology on a global scale.

    Responsibilities:

    - Develop a comprehensive growth strategy including a sales pipeline and funnel to attract, acquire, and retain customers.

    - Identify and pursue new business opportunities in a variety of sectors and verticals

    - Build relationships with key decision-makers

    - Scope opportunities for new business and develop proposals for potential clients

    - Develop a go-to-market strategy and sales pipeline for Thirdsound's products and services

    - Collaborate with the leadership team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and materials

    - Work closely with the product development team to understand the latest product features and enhancements

    - Use data to optimise sales efforts and report on sales performance

    - Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

    - 4+ years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing

    - A proven track record of generating leads, building relationships with clients and closing deals

    Requirements:

    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

    - Strong negotiation and presentation skills

    - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with curiosity to resolve problems, identify emerging business trends, be creative and find innovative solutions

    - Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    - Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field

    - Ability to construct a strong visual proposal using PowerPoint, Canva or similar tools.

    - Entrepreneurial mindset with an ability to self motivate
